Notice of Road Closure - Pirongia Road

UPDATE: 1pm The road is open. A Stop/Go is in place to complete the work.

UPDATE: 9am Crews from traffic management and Waipā Networks will be onsite until further notice.

Heads up Pirongia/Te Awamutu commuters! Police have closed Pirongia Road, between McClure Street and the intersection of Bowman and Mangapiko School Road, due to a crash early this morning.

Please use Frontier Road as a detour or avoid the area if possible.
