Special council meeting to consider Cambridge Pool next week

Waipa District Council will hold an extraordinary meeting next Tuesday, December 6, to receive a report from the Cambridge Pool Fundraising Committee.

Originally the group was expected to report back to the council in October, however in August they were granted a time extension to reach the $4.5 million target that is needed for the development of a covered pool go ahead.

A December 5 deadline date for the committee to report back to the council was set in order for any decision to comfortably fit into the timing of the preparation of the draft 10-Year Plan.
