Total Mobility is a national door-to-door transport scheme designed to increase the mobility of people with disabilities.
The scheme provides financial assistance, giving registered users a 50 per cent discount on taxi fares. The total discount can be up to $12.50 for Waipā residents, with the user paying the rest of the fare to the taxi driver.
People who use the scheme must carry a valid Total Mobility photo ID card to get the discounted fare.
