Balloons are back in Te Awamutu – and it’s going to be AMAZING!

Get ready for an unforgettable evening packed with fun for the whole whānau! Come along, grab some mouth-watering kai for dinner or bring a picnic, chill out to some tunes and of course, check out those incredible hot air balloons thanks to our partners Balloons Over Waikato!

At Balloons visit Waipā, the sky will come alive when the hot air balloons inflate, including Ms. Autumn and Owlbert Eyenstein! These stay tethered to the ground, giving you the perfect chance to get up close and personal.

Catch a FREE bus from either the Victoria Square bus stop on Victoria Street, Cambridge or the Shakespeare Street bus stop, outside Leamington Medical Centre.

Pick-up times: 4:30pm, 5pm, and 5:30pm.
Buses will return to Cambridge at 7pm, 7:30pm, and 8:15pm.

Hamilton attendees – catch a free bus ride on the 24 service to Te Awamutu. Simply tell your driver you're heading to the balloons! Albert Park is an easy 8-minute walk from the Gorst Avenue bus stop.

If you're driving, please carpool where possible. Public parking is available at Castleton Park. Once full, please use the surrounding street parking.
