Road Closure - SH1 Waikato Expressway and Racecourse Road, Cambridge
Road works and closures
As part of its work on the National Grid, Transpower is using a helicopter to pull transmission wires across SH1 Waikato Expressway and Racecourse Road, Cambridge, both this Saturday afternoon and next Saturday afternoon.
Racecourse Road will be closed between Peake and Cambridge Roads. Residents will have full access during the closure.
SH1 will be closed between the northern interchange (Cambridge Road) and SH1B interchange (Hautapu), including the northbound offramp and southbound onramp, on Saturday 14 September, and Saturday 21 September between 12pm and 4pm each day.
