Annual resident’s survey coming up
Annual resident's survey coming up
22 April 2014
Some Waipa residents will have an opportunity to have their say about issues and services provided by council during its upcoming annual survey.
A telephone survey will be carried out by independent research company National Research Bureau (NRB) in the first half of May. Around 400 people will be interviewed using a randomised selection method during the two week period and the results will be collated and provided to council in June. The survey is totally confidential.
Senior corporate and community planner Sandra Des Forges said the survey provides valuable information to council about how well it is tracking and where there are issues that need addressing for its residents.
The results are used in the planning of services, improvements and council spending. They provide critical and representative feedback from a cross-section of people living in the district, she said.
If you are phoned we would ask that you take the call and provide honest and upfront feedback about your experiences with our services.
Interviewing for the survey begins on Friday May 9 and is expected to be completed on Sunday May 18.
