Paying rates and water

Rates are due each quarter in August, November, January and May, and you can pay them online. Use our rates calculator to see the valuation information we hold on Waipā properties.

Recycling and rubbish

Here’s what can be recycled, and when it’s collected.

Waipā District Council does not manage rubbish collection – get sorted, find a provider that suits you, and your local waste transfer station.

Dogs

If you’ve just moved, you can change your dog’s address details online. All dogs must be registered with us by 30 June every year –you can register online here.
