Ohaupo Water Supply Update

The watermain is now repaired but it will take a few hours to reinstate the water supply as we still need to flush the mains, remove trapped air and fill the reservoir.

Water is still available from at water tanker positioned outside Windy Ridge. Council has also supplied water to Ohaupo school for toilet flushing and provided bottled water for children. We are continuing to work with Kaipaki school to provide water.

Radio updates will continue until the water is back on. Traffic boards at Ohaupo and Kaipaki Road will also keep residents up to date.

Council thanks people for their understanding and co-operation while we work to fix the problem.
