Ohaupo Water Supply Update 12pm

Council has now fixed the pipes and is beginning to refill the reservoir, however this anticipated to take another two hours. Most properties should be receiving water now although at a low pressure. The exception to this is the properties on the high ridge near the Ohaupo school which are likely to have minimal flow or none at all at this stage.

Water tankers will remain in place until we are back to normal.

As the water begins to come on again you may experience unclear or slightly dirty' water coming from your taps. This is due to air in the pipelines and all you need to do is run the taps until the water clears.
