One day to go

Only one day now before voting for your local Mayor, Councillors and Community Board members closes. It's too late to do postal voting but you can drop off your envelopes in either the Cambridge or Te Awamutu council offices until 5pm today or from 9am until 12noon tomorrow. Special votes can also be done until 12noon tomorrow.

So far just over 30 percent of voters in the district have voted which is slightly behind the figures for the same time last election.

Preliminary results will be available on Saturday afternoon from the Electionz website.
