Restricted rural fire season extended until the 30th April 2013

Waipa District Council has extended its restricted rural fire season to the end of the month.

Fire permits will be required until April 30 and will be issued on a case-by-case basis; however no permits will be issued during weekends or public holidays.

Permits are free and applications should be made at the Waipa District Council Offices in Cambridge or Te Awamutu by calling 0800 924 723 between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
