THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR RESIDENTS IN OHAUPO TOWNSHIP!

Overnight there has been water supply pipe breakages in the Pukerimu water supply area which also feed the Ohaupo Reservoir- these were repaired but another breakage at 6am this morning has drained the Ohaupo Reservoir. Repairs will take approximately three hours. A water tanker has been deployed to Ohaupo village. The water tanker is located at Windy Ridge in Ohaupo. Residents will need to bring their own water containers please .

The public are asked to be patient and to conserve all water until the supply is restored. Keep listening to your local radio station and regular updates will be provided on our website and Facebook page.
