Waipa Community Facilities Trust members appointed

Provisional appointments have been made to the inaugural board of the Waipa Community Facilities Trust.

They are Merv Gyde, Mike Livingstone, Mike Lord, Ray Milner and Graham Scott.

The trust is being formed to promote active sport and recreation and to undertake administration of leisure facilities within the district, with an initial focus on running the Trust Waikato Te Awamutu Events Centre and the Cambridge Swimming Pool Complex.

The appointments were made following interviews by an independent selection panel who were assisted by an external Human Resources Advisor.

The appointments will be confirmed once checking processes are complete.
