Waipa District Council seeks public feedback

A cross-section of Waipa residents will soon have the chance to have their say on how they think their council is performing.

As part of its on-going commitment to continually improve services, Waipa District Council has again engaged the National Research Bureau (NRB) to conduct a survey to help gauge what it is doing well and where it can improve.

NRB has conducted annual surveys on the council's behalf since 1992. The survey is run by many councils around New Zealand and allows comparison to other local authorities.

Using a random selection method, around 400 residents from the district's five wards will be telephoned, and asked their opinions on the services the council delivers. The survey is totally confidential.

The survey begins today Friday, May 11 and is expected to be completed by Monday, May 21. Results will be available in August.
