NZTA road works: 6 - 31 March, SH39 in Pirongia
Council has been advised that Waka Kotahi – NZTA road works that were due to start on SH39 in Pirongia on 27 February will now begin on 6 March, due to recent wet weather.
Works on SH39 from Mangapiko Bridge and Beechey Street will be underway from 6am- 6pm daily. Please allow for short delays. This work is due to be completed by 17 March. Traffic management will be in place.
Contractors will be working on the pavement. Please don’t park your car on the road during this time as access to all properties is needed.
There may be limited access to properties while some work is carried out. Traffic management crews on site can help you access your property and inform you of restricted access times.
Mangapiko Bridge will be closed from 20 March until 31 March and detours will be in place.
This is part of an ongoing Waka Kotahi NZTA project on SH29 between Mangapiko Bridge and Beechey Street, which is being carried out in three phases.
