Groundwater drilling at Rotopiko

Waikato Regional Council will be installing groundwater monitoring wells at Lake Rotopiko. The wells are to monitor water quality around the lake surroundings.

These works are scheduled for Monday 3 April from 7:30am and will take two days to complete.

The work will involve getting a small tracked drilling rig on site and drilling down approximately 5m deep and capping with a small steel cap, flush with the ground.
