Robinson Rd closure due to tomo

The site will continue to be closed and will be an operational work site. The hours of work will be between 7am to 6pm each day for a week, depending on weather, starting Monday 4 December. After hours the site will be made safe, and will remain closed to the public.

We have been advised by our contractors that a section of Robinson Road, Rotoorangi, will be closed until it is safe to open due to the discovery of a tomo over the culvert. The section closed will be about 100m, either side of the site, which is nearest to 286 Robinson Road.

Residents will not be able to cross the tomo so will have to access their properties from the appropriate detour end.

Detour routes will be in place via Robinson/Kairangi Roads (Southern end) or Robinson/Kairangi Roads (Northern end).

The road closure will remain in place as works start on stabilising the tomo. Work is set to begin on Monday, 4 December 2023. Thank you for your understanding.
