Notice of State Highway works - Rukuhia Road, Ōhaupō
Road works and closures
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi will be undertaking road resurfacing works on SH3 near Rukuhia Road, overnight on Tuesday 19 March to Thursday 21 March 2024. We have been advised that their work will take place between the hours of 7pm and 6am each night.
They have advised that their work is expected to take two nights to complete and is weather dependent.
Access to and from Rukuhia Road, via SH3 Ohaupo Road, will be closed to through traffic and the detour will be via local roads. Stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH3 Ōhaupō Road and residents will have access to their properties at all times.
Emergency Services will be given priority at all times through the worksite.
In the event of poor weather or other unforeseen circumstances preventing work from taking place on either of these nights, the work will be rescheduled.
