UPDATE: Due to poor weather conditions the work will now take place Monday, 10 June and Tuesday, 11 June.
Downer NZ Ltd will be carrying out resurfacing work on Alexandra Street, from the railway crossing to the Fonterra entrance, on Sunday, 9 June and Monday, 10 June, between 8pm and 5am.
The work will also include the intersection of Station Road.
Stop/go traffic management will be in place. We ask motorists to please take care when driving through the worksite and follow the temporarily reduced speed limit.
In the event of poor weather or unforeseen circumstances preventing work from taking place, the work will be postponed. If postponed, updates will be posted on our website.
