Te Awamutu and Kihikihi community board member, Jill Taylor has helped to get three pieces of exercise equipment for Te Awamutu’s Pioneer Park. They have been kindly donated by Waipa Masonic Lodge with support from the Potter Foundation.
Starting on Monday, a section of the park will be closed, including one of the play areas, while contractors install the equipment. This work is expected to take two weeks but is weather dependent.
For the first week the entire red section will be closed, and in second week the play area will be reopened, with just the orange section closed.
During these works, up to three carparks will occasionally be unavailable.
