Water will be turned off to some properties on Fraser Street, Te Awamutu, on Tuesday, February 25 between 8.30am and 2.30pm, while essential work is completed on the watermains.
The affected properties are located from the Bank/Fraser Street corner property (number 979) along the left-hand side of Fraser Street, covering property numbers 442 to 192, travelling towards Brady Street.
Please note that the work could take longer if problems occur, and we will inform you if there is going to be a delay.
We will flush the main pipes once the water is turned back on. This can cause air bubbles to become trapped. We suggest running your outside taps for 10 - 15 minutes and capturing the water in a bucket to reuse in the garden.
