Te Awamutu toilet gets a makeover

The public toilet unit in Te Awamutu's Jacob Street carpark by the Fresh Choice supermarket will be removed tomorrow (Thursday) so it can receive a makeover.

Community Facilities Contracts Officer Rob Sinclair said as part of the council's ongoing public toilet maintenance programme the 15-year-old unit was being returned to the manufacturer for a complete renovation, which was expected to take about three weeks.

During that time there would be no toilet facilities available at the site, he said.
