Public submission deadline extended on sand quarry proposal

With many people requesting more time to share their views on the sand quarry proposal for Newcombe Road, Cambridge, the deadline for submissions on the resource consent application has been extended to Monday, November 4.

Waipā District Council and Waikato Regional Council will hold a joint hearing to consider the application and submissions following this date. A hearing panel of independent commissioners will decide whether to grant the consent.

People are encouraged to contact the Waipā District Council enquiries team on 0800 924 723 or the Waikato Regional Council enquiries team on 0800 800 402 if they have any questions about the application.
