What is Private Plan Change 31?
Private Plan Change 31, lodged by L Cudby and LY & NZ Investment Ltd, seeks to rezone in the order of 28 hectares of land fronting onto Puniu Road and Wallace Terrace, Te Awamutu from deferred residential to medium density residential zone.
The proposal will provide an additional 11 hectares of new residential land within the Te Awamutu township, including two commercial overlay areas and an associated open space network. A Structure Plan has been developed as indicated below, to illustrate the development concept for the Growth Cell.
